Jessica Simpson Trying Out For ‘Dallas’ Role

Jessica Simpson confirmed to MTV News that she’s had a meeting with producers of the big-screen version of ‘Dallas’ about playing the part of Lucy Ewing, the role originated played by Charlene Tilton. “That would be an honor for me,” Simpson said. “I’m a Texas girl, so you can’t go wrong there.” The ‘Newlyweds’ star is not expecting it to be easy to get the role. “But you know, however it all works out, I’m just kind of going with the flow,” she said, “one day at a time.”
