Jessica Simpson Turns Down Bush Fundraiser Invite

Conan O’Brien joked during his Late Night monologue on Thursday night, “I got the latest out of Washington. Last night – did you hear about this – Jessica Simpson turned down an invitation to meet with President Bush at a Republican fundraiser. Turned him down, yeah. [Applause] Yeah. Yeah, President Bush says he invited Simpson to the fundraiser ’cause he likes to be around people who challenge him.”
