Jessica Skips Ashlee’s Gig To Avoid Vanessa
Jessica Simpson skipped her sister Ashlee’s performance at the Victoria’s Secret party celebrating its new Pink line at Pier 54 Wednesday night. The singer sent word she “didn’t want to steal Ashlee’s spotlight,” but The New York Post hears the real reason was that she was afraid of running into ‘ET’ and ‘TRL’ correspondent Vanessa Minnillo. Nick Lachey new squeeze thought about attending the event, but a spy said, “At the last minute, Vanessa decided not to go.”
