Jewel Discusses Marriage, Hard Times, Career Longevity
Jewel visited ‘Today’ on Tuesday (September 30), where the singer songwriter talks about the hardships she overcame to reach stardom, finally getting married to her longtime boyfriend Ty Murray, and shifting to country music on her latest album. “I think for me the biggest blessing is I do something I enjoy so much,” Jewel said. “Especially in this career, it’s such a short shelf life for people in my position in music, especially as a singer songwriter. So to be able to be here 13 years later and have people care about sincere music and songwriting.” Watch the segment below.
