Jewel Starts Work On Her Lullaby Album
Jewel checked in with fans on her official web site’s blog on Monday (January 5), wishing fans a Happy New Year and discussing her lullaby album. The singer songwriter tells readers:
Hope your holidays were good, and Happy New Year!! I had a relaxing holiday at home, and also got to start work on my lullaby album. Man, I think you guys are gonna like this one. It’s mostly just solo acoustic and original songs, with a few covers like ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’. It may end up being one of my favorites! Recording at home is sooooo nice – it’s relaxed, more creative, and because I don’t have to think about having a “hit single” I really feel free to just do whatever tickles my fancy!!! I will slip you a rough cut of something soon.
