Jeweler Nixed Britney’s ‘Crossroads’ Meet & Greet

WENN reports Britney Spears was forced to skip a meet and greet with fans in London during her ‘Crossroads’ premiere because she was wearing a $500,000 necklace and the jeweler didn’t want to risk its theft. Felecia Culotta, Britney’s best friend and personal assistant explained, “At the Crossroads premiere, what they didn’t tell anybody was that a designer in London had let her borrow a half-a-million dollar diamond necklace. An armed guard the jewelery store had sent said, ‘No, she can’t walk out in the middle of all those people with a half-a-million-dollar necklace on!’”
