Jimi Goodwin from Doves has been telling Radio 1 that he’s not a big fan of reality TV shows like ‘Pop Idol’ or ‘Popstars’ – but it’s not because they don’t write their own songs. “Elvis, man, didn’t write a song in his life… got the odd fake credit, bless him,” Jimmy said. “Some people can be great interpreters of songs where you make songs your own, but frankly I don’t hear anyone today with the legs to do that.”
