Triple J caught up with Perth artist Jodie Tes recently and asked the singer about ‘Tonite’, the first single off her upcoming EP due out next month. “The song is basically a love song from someone who is looking for love wherever they can get it,” she said. “I used old roller-skating terms like ‘snowball’ and ‘speed-skating’ from when I was a kid, which seemed weird when I was writing it. But they make perfect sense within the song!” Check out the entire interview and download ‘Tonite’ here.
