Though Joe Simpson is quick to defend himself over charges that he’s the career puppetmaster of daughters Jessica and Ashlee, he didn’t worry about that perception when OK! magazine asked about Ashlee’s collapse after a performance in Tokyo on December 15th. “She’s just exhausted,” Joe said. “I’m parking her at home for at least two or three weeks. She’s been touring and working non-stop and it’s enough, so I’m taking her off.”
