Joe Simpson Ruins Thanksgiving For Infotainment Shows

Entertainment shows like ‘Entertainment Tonight’, ‘The Insider’, ‘Access Hollywood’ and ‘Extra!’ weren’t happy with Joe Simpson for releasing news that his daughter Jessica Simpson and hubby Nick Lachey had split after a 10 p.m. Wednesday night announcement. All the shows had pre-taped their Thanksgiving day program, and had to rush in to work on the holiday. “They got their holidays, but we didn’t,” one staffer complained to The New York Post. “They couldn’t have waited one day? This was so calculated.”
