Patrick MacDonald of the Seattle Times reviewed John Mayer’s sold-out show at the Moore theater on Tuesday night and was impressed by the young artist. MacDonald wrote, “You’re going to be hearing a lot about this scruffy new singer-songwriter-guitarist, who has an engaging, slightly mumbling style reminiscent of Dave Matthews and David Gray, plays stylish electric guitar with influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Wes Montgomery and has a loose-limbed boyish personality that makes the girls scream.”
