JoJo Proves Bullying Schoolmates Wrong

JoJo tells The Sun’s ‘Something For The Weekend’ she was a victim of bullying by her schoolmates as she aimed for young stardom. “A lot of my peers told me I couldn’t fulfill my dreams and I guess they were jealous because I had goals,” the 16-year-old revealed. “It was very hurtful, so to me taking the high road is about trying to be your own person. You think, ‘OK, I’m going to show you what I’m about.’ Especially when you’re a young girl and you’re determined, some things get in your way, whether it’s friends, boys or yourself.” Read more.
