JoJo Says Being A Teenager Has Given Her A Lot To Write About

JoJo tells MTV News she’s looking forward to putting out more grown-up material for her sophomore album, since she wrote her first album when she was only 12. “The natural growth period from 12 to 15 is big,” the singer said. “[This new album] shows me growing up vocally, but also professionally and personally. I’ve been through a lot in these last three years. I’ve written about it [all] and it’s definitely coming across in the music.” The yet-untitled second album is due in the late summer. Read more.
