Jordin Sparks Gives ‘Seven Pounds’ A Big Thumbs Up

checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace (@jordinsparks) on Tuesday (December 16) after watching the new Will Smith movie ‘Seven Pounds’. The ‘American Idol’ season six winner writes:

This movie, ‘Seven Pounds’, really touched me. Basically it’s a story of grief, love and redemption. I can’t tell you everything or it will give it away. But it’s a great reminder not to take anything for granted. Each touch, each person, each breath…each heartbeat. Will Smith is phenomenal in this movie, proving he deserves to receive any award or paycheck. If you are up for one of those amazing movies that only come around once in awhile, you should go see this. Actually, I’m telling you to go see it. You won’t regret it.

I’m determined to live life like it should be lived.

I’m going to tell people I appreciate them. Love them. Need them.
I’m going to cherish every breath. Every step I get to take. Every thing I see.
I’m going to live, love and not regret. Leave what’s past…in the past.
And most of all, I’m going to make a better effort to love me for me.

I really hope you get a chance to see this, and I hope it touches you like it did me.

Merry Christmas.

i couldn’t agree more! I had tears just rolling down my face at the end of the movie, given it was a little confusing until the end, but the heart and emotion that will smith put into that character is just amazing, and such selfless acts are just unheard of. I think its an amazing and inprirational movie!
