Jordin Sparks: It’s Okay To Be Different
Jordin Sparks fielded questions on her Twitter in a video chat at Ustream, where the ‘American Idol’ season six winner talked about how she related a lot to her song ‘God Loves Ugly’ and how it celebrates how people are beautiful because they are different. “Because I’m tall, because I have this crazy curly hair, because I have a huge smile. All those different things make me beautiful, and I think that’s kind of one of my biggest messages, is that we all are beautiful because of our differences. It’s okay to be different. You don’t have to fit the mold that everyone is trying to place out there, like size 2, blonde, blue eyes, really skinny, fake tan. All those different things. Just the Hollywood perception is really really scary because it’s not real.” Jordin then performed the track before fielding some Twitter questions. Watch the clip below.
