Jordin Sparks Visits KIIS FM’s Ryan Seacrest

‘American Idol’ season six winner Jordin Sparks visited KIIS FM in Los Angeles on Monday (January 14) to talk with Ryan Seacrest.
Jordin talked about what she did over the holidays, still having a grudge against Ryan for appearing to tell her she had been voted off on ‘Idol Gives Back’, her father’s former team the New York Giants winning on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, surprising someone listening to her album in a preview booth at Virgin Megastore in New York City the week it came out, getting a no from ‘Idol’ the first time before getting another chance at the Seattle auditions, getting Chris Brown to sing on her new single ‘No Air’, and her advice for the new crop of ‘Idol’ hopefuls.

As for performing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona next month, Jordin was asked about whether she’s worried about forgetting the lyrics. “I’ve sang the National Anthem at a couple of other sporting events and whatever,” Sparks said, “and I’ve had a couple people come up to me and go, ‘Congratulations on singing, don’t forget the words.’ I’m like, that’s not encouraging! That doesn’t help me!” She added, “I’m so excited, with my dad playing football and growing up with it and everything, and being able to actually be at the Super Bowl, much less sing at it, I am, I don’t even…”
