Associated Press reports a federal judge has ruled in favor of Mariah Carey and a team of songwriters over allegations that they stole the work of two other composers, Seth Swirsky and Warryn Campbell, on the track ‘Thank God I Found You.’ U.S. District Judge Christina Snyder said there was a “lack of melodic similarity between the two songs” in a written ruling on Tuesday.
