Juliette Lewis Says Jennifer Lopez Is ‘A Very Guarded Person’
Karin Nelson of The Province spoke with Juliette Lewis at the premiere of ‘Enough’, where she plays the best friend of the film’s star Jennifer Lopez. Lewis revealed, “[Jennifer’s] a very guarded person — unless she knows you well, she doesn’t open up.” Lewis says she “went out of my way to be friendly; to be extra, extra nice and she eventually warmed up. But really, Jennifer is the epitome of professionalism. She’s always on time and she works really hard.”
Puffy Says He & Jennifer Lopez Will Always Work Together
May 23, 2002 – Following reports that Jennifer had expressed interest in working with ex-boyfriend Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs in music or film, Puffy responded to Access Hollywood saying, “You all make so much out of this thing it’s crazy. That’s my home girl, we’re friends. We just used to go out back in the day, it’s that simple. You know, we’re going to always work together, we’re going to always be cool. She called me and congratulated me on being number one.”
Jennifer Lopez’s Grandmother Beats On ‘Enough’ Co-Star
May 23, 2002 – IMDB.com reports Jennifer’s grandmother chewed out her ‘Enough’ co-star Billy Campbell for beating J.Lo’s character in the film. Lopez explained, “She saw it, she was at the premiere, and she saw the movie and I was like, you know, ‘Buela, how did you like it?’ And she was like, ‘I liked the end, I liked the end.’ And I said, ‘What about the beginning, ‘ and she was like ‘Hm.’ So later on, I see Billy Campbell, who plays the husband, and he said, ‘Your grandmother beat on me.’ She said, ‘I no like you.’ Because she doesn’t speak any English. ‘I no like’ is very, very bad.”
Jennifer Lopez Upstaged By 5-Year-Old Co-Star
May 23, 2002 – Jack Mathews of the New York Daily News has given a very critical review of Jennifer’s new film ‘Enough’, giving it only a 1 star rating. Mathews said, “Lopez is fit and agile in her fight sequence, but on the performance front, she’s badly upstaged by newcomer Tessa Allen, the 5-year-old who plays her daughter, Gracie. In the middle section, when Slim and Gracie are on the run, the child’s confusion and terror give the film its only moments of emotional truth.”
Jennifer’s movie should have had a 5 star rating. She worked hard on that movie, and she deserves more than the critics have to offer, I hope she knows that! Jennifer kicks a$$ literally, (See movie, than you’ll understand!) People if you are reading this don’t listen to the critics go see the movie, it’s one of the best this year!
