Justin & Christina Take Out Top Spots In Australian Charts
In the Australian Aria singles chart Justin Timberlake debuts at #1 with ‘SexyBack” knocking Shakira with “Hips don’t lie” to #3 after an amazing 9 weeks at the top spot. Nelly furtado takes out #2 with “Promiscuous” after 8 weeks in the top 10. Rihannas at #4 with ‘Unfaithful’ and finishing off the top 5 are the Pussycat Dolls with ‘Buttons’.
Beyonce continues her dissapointing run with ‘De Ja Vu’ which has so far failed to crack the top ten, she drops one spot from #12 to #13. Lily Allens ‘Smile’ debuts at #22 while Mary J Blige finally gets an Australian single release date for ‘Be Without You’ and debuts at #30. Danielle from TV’s Big Brother manages #41 with her debut single “Underneath the Radar”
In album news Christina Aguileras ‘Back to Basics’ enters the charts at #1 going gold in its first week. At #2 is Pinks Platinum selling album ‘I’m not dead’ which has been in the top ten for 20 weeks. Nelly Furtados ‘Loose’ is #7 followed by Aussie act ‘The Veronicas’ at number #8 who are still in the top ten after 44 weeks.
