Justin Guarini Denies Paula Abdul Romance

American Idol runner-up Justin Guarini spoke with Ed Condran of the Philadelphia Inquirer and shot down rumors he had been dating Idol judge Paula Abdul. “Oh, come on now. We never dated,” Guarini insisted. “We became friends from the show. She was so wonderfully supportive of me. It was really nice after how the show was done that I could sit and talk with her. She gave such wonderful advice. To people in my generation, there’s something about her. She is Paula Abdul! She has gone through the pop-star thing. She’s a warm, wonderful person.”
