Justin Guarini’s step-father Jerry tells Globe magazine that the ‘American Idol’ runner-up’s trademark Harpo hair was almost chopped. “I swore to his mother, Kathy, that I was going to sneak in with a razor while he was sleeping and cut it off,” Jerry admits. “But it turned out to be his hallmark.”
