Justin Says ‘Idol’ Drew Divorced Parents Closer
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution spoke with American Idol runner-up Justin Guarini where he revealed mom Kathy Guarini was “recovering very quickly” and also had good things to say about his dad and former Atlanta Police Chief Eldrin Bell. “He’s been amazing,” he said. “He’s given so much energy and support from the audience.” Justin said despite their parent’s divorce, he felt the ‘American Idol’ experience drew the entire family closer.
