Justin Timberlake Bidding For Big Screen Debut In ‘Rent’

Billy Masters of Filth2go.com hears that Justin Timberlake turned down the role to play Elton John in a film about the singer because he wants to make his feature-length film debut in an adaptation of the hit Broadway musical ‘Rent’. Masters hears that the *NSYNC star has already done a screen test to play the part of ‘Roger’. The singer was originally approached to play the part of ‘Mark’, but had his heart set on the romantic lead. While a number of Broadway actors have tested with Timberlake, no contract offers have been floated his way yet.
