While many have compared the debut solo effort of *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake to Michael Jackson, Tom Poleman, program director of WHTZ-FM, a pop station in New York City, disagrees. “I think it’s a unique sound that breaks the formula,” he told the New York Times. “And any time you do that it’s a gamble that will either pay off or fall flat.
