Justin Timberlake: Britney Spears ‘Knows Why This Happened’
*NSYNC star Justin Timberlake tells Vibe magazine that his love for Britney Spears blinded him from what she did that eventually led to their breakup. “I feel I became so consumed with her that I didn’t see some things that I should have seen,” he says. “I don’t feel like I’m saying too much by saying she knows why this happened. Britney’s a fire sign, a Sagittarius, and they do things on a whim. I love her; we have a lot of history, and she’s the closest anybody ever got to me.”

December 26, 2002 – MTV’s John Norris and Gideon Yago both helped ‘Extra’ look in on the year in music. John Norris says, “The big question was which boy band member going solo was going to win the sweepstakes?” Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter gave it a shot. So did Justin Timberlake. Norris says, “There is no denying that Justin Timberlake’s got the star quality.”

My new CD is coming out in February!” Samantha tells M on the phone from the UK. Sam’s still thinking up a title, but the new tunes are more mature. She says, “I love the track ‘Put Your Money On Me,’ ’cause it’s sassy and a bit daring. Plus, I’m hoping to tour the US again soon! I’d love to tour with Justin. I think he’s so wicked!”
