Bill Picture of the San Francisco Examiner caught up with Black Eyed Peas founding member Taboo about hooking up with Justin Timberlake on ‘Where is the Love’, and now opening for the *NSYNC star and Christina Aguilera on their North American tour. “I met (Justin) in L.A. a while back,” he explained. “I’d been working on this song so I called him up and I said, ‘You should rap with us,’ and I played it for him over the phone. Two days later, he called me back with some lyrics and kicked it to me over the phone and I was like, ‘Damn!’” As for how it is opening before a teen pop crowd in big arenas, Taboo added, “It’s a pretty big deal for us. I mean, we get out on stage and the girls are just screaming. It’s great, it’s like we’re The Beatles or something.”
