Justin Timberlake Eyes ‘Rent’ Role
The Sun reports ‘Rent’ director Chris Columbus confirmed that *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake had asked him for a part in the Broadway hit. “The music is the important thing in the film,” he warned. “The songs must be sung by trained singers. I think there is room for one or two pop stars in the cast, but Justin will have to go through as rigorous an audition process as everyone else.” Justin’s bandmate Joey Fatone enjoyed a run in ‘Rent’ in 2002.
