Justin Timberlake Never Agreed To Live 8 Appearance

Though both were heavily touted to appear at the Live 8 concert in Philadelphia, The New York Daily News reports neither Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs or *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake ever made plans to go to the Saturday’s event. “His name was being bandied about, but he never agreed to anything,” Timberlake’s rep said. “He was in the One ad campaign [to fight African poverty], and that was it.” A friend of Combs said, “Puffy expressed interest in the event, but they never got back to him about it.”
