*NSYNC star Justin Timberlake is on the cover of the December issue of Attitude magazine where he discusses the decision to branch off to do his ‘Justified’ solo project. “*NSYNC was like this huge entertainment park. This big rollercoaster. But it was also a plateau,” he said. “A plateau that we can jump to other places from. Joey’s doing ‘Rent’. Lance is maybe actually going to the moon, which I can’t fu**ing fathom. There’s all these different things that are coming from that park. And for me, well, from the time that I was 14 until now, straight, I’ve been doing *NSYNC. Before *NSYNC was born I had 14 years. You don’t know exactly who you are at that point but you’re getting there. And I can honestly say that I knew then that one day I was going to have an opportunity to show the world what I’ve got. And this is it. I was Justin before I was in *NSYNC and now I’m in a time and place where I’m willing and eager and open to showing the world who that person is. Showing them what I feel like I was born to do. It’ll be interesting to see how it goes.”
