Jon Bream of the Star Tribune was on the line for a recent conference call with *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake, who talked about his new album ‘Justified’, due Tuesday. Timberlake says branching out on his own won’t endanger the pop group that made him famous. “The fact that the guys in the group are my friends, that’s what’s inspiring to make another record,” Timberlake said. ” ‘Cause you know there’s no egos. Everybody’s doing what they’re doing because they love to do it. That’s reason enough for me to make a record even if it’s a flop. Those are my friends, they’ll always be friends, and I would never turn my back on them. I would do an ‘N Sync record in a heartbeat. But everything’s about timing.”
