Justin Timberlake Talks About Christina Aguilera On ‘TRL’

*NSYNC star Justin Timberlake was on MTV’s Total Request Live on Tuesday, and had this to say about Christina Aguilera when asked about her image: “Honestly, I wouldn’t put her in a category with either. I wouldn’t put her in trailer trash, I wouldn’t put her in clever pop chick, you know? I don’t think what she’s doing now is trying to be clever. And I don’t think she’s trying to be trash because, I mean homegirl can sing. She’s bad. And that’s going to translate in 5 years just like how it translates right now when you listen to ‘Beautiful’. The fact that she can release a song like ‘Dirrty’ and get everyone talking and then release a song like ‘Beautiful’ and say, ‘Look, this is why I am standing here.’ That’s the Christina that I met on the TV show and that’s the Christina that will be around 10 years from now.”
