According to Billboard.com, *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake is the leading contender with five nominations for the 10th annual MTV Europe Music Awards, which will be presented Nov. 6 in Edinburgh. Justin is up for best album, best male, best pop, best new act and best song for ‘Cry Me a River’. Christina Aguilera, who will host the awards show, received four nods. Christina is nominated for best album, female, pop and song for ‘Beautiful’. Among the confirmed performers are Kylie Minogue and Beyonce Knowles. Winners in most categories are selected by MTV Europe viewers through voting at the network’s localized Web sites.
I heard Britney was gonna perform too but they didn’t confirm in on Billboard.com.
Can’t say I’m surprise that Justin and Christina got so many nominations. We all know the biggest star in music this year was 50 cent Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera so I’m expecting those starts to dominate at upcoming award shows.
It’s gonna be Christina’s night. I can’t wait to see her outfits and her hosting skills. ;-P Damn, it’s good to be a Christina fan.

The only palace Justin and Christina are popular is in UK trash. Because trash only appreciates trash, represent. Christina will ruin the show with her ugly self, giving little teenies who will be watching nightmares forever. She received four nods because the people who decided to nominate her received several jobs.
Oh yes they are only popular in the UK, that’s why they are both approaching 7 million sales and are both platinum in countries like Germany, Italy and the US etc..? Right. Anyways, They should both pick up awards that night, and Christina will be a good host. Apparently they were considering Britney, but obviously they wanted Christina.
God I CAN NOT WAIT for these awards. My girl Christina HOSTING, getting it on with all kinds of kick a.s.s outfits. Nominated for 4 Awards!! Hope she performs too. I am so excited. It’s already marked on my calendar and I have a tape ready to tape them and watch them as much as I want!
Other scheduled performers include Sean Paul (maybe he’ll perform with Beyonce), the Chemical Brothers, the Flaming Lips and Travis. Scheduled presenters include Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro.
