The Sun reports *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake auditioned for the fantasy epic ‘Closing The Ring’. but producer Jo Gilbert said the singer wasn’t good enough. “Justin wasn’t quite right for the role,” Gilbert said. “I know it would have meant more bums on seats but it wasn’t right so we let him go. We had a look at Orlando Bloom too but he’s doing something else.”

I knew it! Justin can’t act! He’ll never make it in Hollywood. The only roles he’ll ever get are roles like Model Behavior. Sad. LMFAO!!! This just made my day!

I know he was funny on SNL but I’m not sure that acting is for Justin. He should stick with what he does best and hope that his recent attitude adjustment, which sucks big time, doesn’t lose him too many of his fans.
Hello people, this is The Sun. Why are you even pretending this story has a grain of truth to it?
Just because you audition for something and don’t get it, doesn’t mean you can’t act. Loads of talented actors audition for roles and they don’t get them. Actors like Matt Damon, Edward Norton and Leonardo DiCaprio have auditioned for the SAME roles and all of them have been nominated for either Best or Best Supporting Actor. So, just because you don’t get cast in a role, it doesn’t mean you suck. And this is from the Sun. The guy said that they looked at among others, Justin Timberlake and Orlando Bloom for the role….I mean, come on, if you had a choice between casting Orlando Bloom and Justin Timberlake, which one would you pick? If someone like Bloom is up for this role, there is no way in hell that it’s gonna go to Justin Timberlake. But I don’t think any of this is true…this makes about as much sense as Nick Carter putting out a 2nd album.
I don’t like JT personally, but: 1) The SUN. Yeesh. And 2) getting turned down for one role doesn’t mean jack. Lots of talented folks get turned down.
Basically he already poisoned the music industry and the least he should do is get in on the film industry. They know better than to cast the guy as whatever. Besides, he has NO talent.
