Justin Timberlake’s Getaway From Britney Stunt Revealed

Globe magazine spoke with Suite 16 Club doorman Wass Stevens who recalled an incident where he tipped *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake that Britney Spears, who at the time he had just recently broken up with, was headed to the club. “She went up to the DJ and played on of Justin’s songs,” he explained. “Then she sent him a bottle of champagne. He didn’t want any part of it. So we dressed up a busboy in Justin’s hat and jacket and had him walk right by her and out of the club. Britney thought he was gone, so she left. Meanwhile, Justin was hiding out back.”
