Launch.com reports Justin Timberlake’s mother Lynn Harless delivered a petition in support of music education to the U.S. Congress on behalf of her son on Wednesday (October 9). About 15,000 people added their names to the petition online starting June 12, when the singer and his Justin Timberlake Foundation teamed up with the American Music Conference, a national nonprofit educational association, to get people involved in promoting music education. Harless personally delivered the petition results to several House and Senate offices. “I am here for every American parent,” she said. “No child can reach his or her full potential without a sound music education. I’m proud to support my son Justin in all his endeavors, but I’ve never been prouder to represent him than I am today.” Read more.
