Life & Style Weekly reports that when Britney Spears hubby Kevin Federline saw newly single Jessica Simpson at Los Angeles hotspot Privilege recently, the aspiring rapper “made a beeline” towards Nick Lachey’s ex. “She invited him to sit down,” a clubgoer revealed. “There was definitely some chemistry there.” But reps for Simpson and Federline insisted that the pair are just old friends. The mag also reports that Simpson is “disgusted” with Lachey’s bid for spousal support. Jessica told a friend, “He’s doing this just when I was starting to move on with my life. It’s cruel.”
