‘American Idol’ season five runner-up Katharine McPhee took part in an AIM chat with AOLMusicScottB. Asked if she was going to try and pull a Clay Aiken and outshine Taylor Hicks, McPhee responded, “I’m just trying to do the best that I can. I’m not trying to outshine anyone really. I’m just in competition with myself. That would be cool if I could have as much success as Clay though.”
