Katharine McPhee Checks In After ‘Early Show’ Performance

Katharine McPhee posted another video update from the road while she’s touring in support of her new single ‘Love Story’. The ‘American Idol’ season five runner-up talked from her hotel room about her performance on ‘The Early Show’ this morning.

“Thank you to all the people who drove from everywhere to come see ‘The Early Show’,” Katharine said afterward. “It was such a blast. There was so much energy there. I really want to specially thank these four girls, I think it was four of you guys, that drove and you were wearing the cute little ‘McPheever’ shirts that you guys put together, and you guys drove all the way from Rhode Island, I think you said Rhode Island, not Long Island, and I was so blown away. Thank you so much. I hope you know how much I appreciated that.”

“Now I’m sitting in my lovely hotel room and we’re leaving, going back to LA tonight,” McPhee said to close out the brief update. “I’ve been on the road for two weeks so I’m excited to get home.”
