Katharine McPhee close up‘American Idol’ season five runner-up checked in with her MySpace (@katharinemcphee) friends on Thursday (November 15) with the following bulletin:

Hi everyone. all is well. Thanksgiving is one week away and I love that holiday. I am actually singing the National Anthem at the Green Bay/Detroit game for the NFL on FOX that morning. If you’re up and want to take a break from the Macy’s day parade, click over.

On more serious news… unfortunately due to some inappropriate language and behavior on the forums on my website, RCA is going to shut them down. Also sometime next week, they will close KatharineMcPhee.com and we will go under construction again. I apologize for everyone that uses these daily but this seems like the best option at the moment. You can still get information here at MySpace and look forward to a brand new site in the coming weeks.
