Katharine McPhee Previews Debut Album

‘American Idol’ season five runner-up Katharine McPhee tells Billboard she’s set to release her debut album, tentatively titled ‘Never Saw It Comin’, on January 30th. McPhee said of the album’s title: “I never saw this coming into my life as big as it did, and you never saw this kind of a record coming. You thought I was going to make a Streisand record.” The kind of record the artist most known for her ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ cover is described by McPhee as “rhythm pop.” Read more.
