Do I suspect some jealousy in posts which talk about Katharine’s income and possessions? Kat is incredibily talented and is an extremely hard worker. She has made her money by EARNING it, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Now if she can use her fame and influence to raise money for charity, then that is very admirable as well.

PopFan…you’ve totally missed the point!Why not ask yourself why youpass judgement on a person based on superficial material things?
In spite of being financially comfortable,Katharine has dedicated herself and her time to caring for others.
Kat is a person of character;unlike many of her contemporaries.
And BTW…..just because someone is driving an expensive car…doesn’t mean they own it….does the word”lease” mean anything to you?HELLO!!!

I never cease to be amazed at how many people are actively following the life and career of someone they turn around and vilify as much as they can. Why bother? Katharine not only gives money, she gives her time to the charities she supports (yes, we’ve seen pictures, it’s not just fan idolatry) and keeps in touch with her fans, which is much appreciated. She’s a gracious and generous young lady as well as a talented one.

And Barbara, if you can’t back up your statement, it means nothing, just like you do. The woman cares and is making a difference, which I’m sure is more than you’ve done in your entire miserable life.

Amazing how a sweet message re:a humanitarian effort can be so maligned by these trolls!
This was a surprise gift to Kat…she did not expect anything from her fans.
Kat has dedicated herself to “giving back” ever since she left Idol.She has supported numerous charity events..as well as visiting sick kids in the hospital.
Kat is anything but a phony!
What have you done to help others…Barbara and PopFan?
Wouldn’t you wear great clothes if you were celebs?Jealous much?
