Kathy Griffin Has No Luck Kissing Ricky Martin
Kathy Griffin was on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ on Tuesday night where she recalled an awards show she did one time and needed someone to do an opening bit with. “So I came up with this bit where I was going to have a a lover’s quarrel with some big male star, and at the end of it we would make out,” she explained. “So, at first I picked Ricky Martin. And I had to, you know, pitch it to like the Ricky Martin people. And I said, ‘Look, I want to do this thing with Ricky, and we’re going to make out at the end. And the audience will go crazy and it wouldn’t, you know, kill Ricky to be seen kissing a a woman. [Laughter] Allegedly, allegedly. All right. So anyway, then Ricky didn’t want to do it for some reason…” Griffin added that Snoop Dogg, who appeared on the show earlier, also turned down the offer.
