Katy Perry Calls Beth Ditto’s Insults Tacky
After learning Beth Ditto of Gossip slammed her for faking lesbianism in her hit song ‘I Kissed A Girl’ and branding her “offensive to gay culture” for making it trendy, Katy Perry is responding to The London Paper. “I heard that she said something about me,” Perry said. “I don’t want to get into a slanging war with anybody, so I don’t want to say anything bad about her. But I’m not impressed. I’ve learned in the past year that one artist should never insult another artist’s music – it’s tacky. And with me, it always comes back to bite me on the a**e!” Perry (or whoever originally typed the quote) probably meant “slagging war”.

Beth Ditto is offensive to gay culture. So how’s that for pots and kettles?
