Katy Perry Discusses Grammy Nomination On ‘Today’
Katy Perry visited the ‘Today’ show on Monday (December 8) to discuss receiving her first Grammy nomination – her hit ‘I Kissed a Girl’ is in the running for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. “It’s great,” she said while sporting earmuffs. “It’s fantastic. When I heard about the Grammy nomination, it was like, ‘Whoa, that is such an amazing honor’, and it’s like, when you get a Grammy nomination, it’s like this underlining respect.” Perry also spoke of her gospel past and her preacher parents, and how they deal with her racy lyrics.
