Katy Perry took part in a label Q&A session for international markets, where the singer discussed growing up in Santa Barbara, having strict parents and being completely clueless about pop culture references from the 90s, leaving home and moving to Los Angeles at 17, respecting where her parents are coming from, the experience recording her debut album, working with Dr. Luke, and more.
