CBS News’ Anthony Mason profiled singer from her beginnings as a Gospel musician to the salacious pop princess we all have come to know her as today, hanging out with the singer on the day ‘Teenage Dream’ was released and she made an appearance on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ and back home in Santa Barbara. “There were people who said we already spent money on her,” Perry said about being dropped from multiple labels after multiple deals. “We need fresh meat.
