Katy Perry Rehearsing ‘Like A Virgin’ For VMAs
Katy Perry is set to perform a cover of the Madonna classic ‘Like A Virgin’, joined by Travis Barker and DJ AM, at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. Footage of the three rehearsing the song, as Katy read the lyrics off a Sidekick, has been posted online. Tamar Anitai of MTV Buzzworthy, who watched the rehearsal, writes, “The bottom line here is that DJ AM, Travis and Katy are taking Madonna’s classic and updating it with such a perfectly of-the-now sound that it just might give the mother of reinvention a reason to hurl a phone into a wall.” Watch the rehearsal clip below.
