Globe magazine reports ‘American Idol’ runner-up Justin Guarini is devastated after the show’s winner Kelly Clarkson ended their brief romance. A show insider revealed, “He made a big play for Kelly, but she doesn’t believe in sex before marriage. She doesn’t believe that Justin would be faithful to her. So many girls are hitting on him that she knows he’ll play the field – and she doesn’t want her heart to be broken.”
A source said Guarini was “devastated” by the news adding, “He fell for Kelly big-time. But he is a ladies’ man and not many girls keep him dangling on a string. Kelly recognized that they didn’t see eye to eye on things that are very important to her, so she let him down lightly.”
