Kelly Clarkson: ‘I’ve Never Dissed Duff’

Kelly Clarkson tells The Daily Telegraph she and Hilary Duff were definitely not at war. “It’s all just a media thing,” she said. “We’re acquaintances. We don’t have sleepovers,’cause we don’t have time, but when we see each other at events we’re cool.” The ‘American Idol’ season one champ also said she has come to terms with constant comparisons to pop peers such as Duff, Avril Lavigne, and Christina Aguilera. “That’s too obvious,” Clarkson said of the Aguilera comparison. “We’re both white girls with big voices. Obviously, I’m different, that’s why I don’t have a problem with it.”
