Kelly Clarkson kicked off her August tour last night, August 6th, to around 3,000 people in LaCrosse, WI. She came out with a performance of her new single ‘Low’ and continued to sing tracks off her debut album, ‘Thankful’. She even had a medley of full songs that included Mariah Carey’s ‘Love Takes Time’ and Bonnie Rait’s ‘Something to Talk About’.
sorry to any Kelly Clarkson fans but I’m just not into her music. she does have a great voice but I hope she works with better producers next time around because I haven’t been real impressed with the songs she’s come out with so far.. which seems to be a pattern with all the Idol winners.. eh.
I bought her album because of Ms. Independent….I happen to like that song. Let’s have a little patience with her, she’s just starting in this business, she’s inexperience, maybe next time around she’ll be able to have more input in her materials. I think she has a very nice voice and I would love to hear her do “Loves Takes Time”. By the way, when is it that MTV or somebody will do a ICON show about Mariah? I would love to hear other artist singing her songs to see how they do it, I think is time she gets honored somehow for the great songs she has give us.

God I bet her voice sounded like ***** like it did when she came onto AI 2. She really lost her voice and now she’s just another talentless whore like Mariah. No wonder she covered a Mariah song.

okay I understand that you don’t like Mariah but saying she’s talentless is so freaking stupid. she can sing in 7 out of 8 octaves and has more hit singles than any other female artist.. I could go on to say more but you already know. you just want to hate on her.
